  • Introduction to Community Media
  • CARIMAC, the premier media training institution in the Caribbean, will for the first time offer three of its courses online through a partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the University of the West Indies Distance Education Centre (UWIDEC). The courses to be offered are Community Media, Online Journalism and Information/Media Literacy.

    Local e-Governance in the Caribbean
  • The University of the West Indies Distance Open Campus is offering the online course on Local e-Governance in the Caribbean, with the assistance and support of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
  • Certificate in Social Service
  • The Certificate in Social Service is a one-year programme offered by the Social Welfare Training Centre (SWTC)..The programme may also be done over two years on a part-time basis. However, classes must be taken simultaneously with the full-time students. The programme targets those persons who need training and/or certification in social work. Successful students may use the certificate to matriculate to do the undergraduate degree in Social Work in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mona.
